3RD AT THE GIRLS STATE TRACK MEET!!!! All athletes
place and the 4X4 team crushes the school record to run
3:54. Congratulations to all!!

After 2 days of competition Pope
proves a unified team as numerous athletes place.
Kristen is 4th in the 1600, Tiffany and Zandi go 3/4 in the
HJ, Zandi places 5th in the LJ and Saskia is the State
runner-up in the TJ. Numerous athletes qualify for
Saturday's finals.....the best is yet to come:)

2nd in the 100m and is the Jv Region Champ in the
200. Marc finishes 3rd in the 3200.

POPE GIRLS REPEAT AS REGION
CHAMPIONS
Winners in 10 of 16 events, Pope
dominates meet with 137 points. Six girls qualified
for state in multiple events. 4x100m breaks school
record, 4x400m comes close - both take 1st.

girls JV team also performed well at the Region
Championships. Placing for the baby hounds were
Italia 1st 100 5th 300h, Samatha 6th 100m, Vanessa
2nd 200m 5th HJ, Alyssa 5th 400 4th TJ, Maria 6th 400m 5th
HJ, Kyra 4th 800 1600, Jessica 4th Discus 2nd place
4X100 team and the Region Jv champions in the
4X400.

JV teams complete the County championships on a high note
with Alyska winning the 800 and the 4X4 team of Italia,
Bethany, Vanessa, and Alyska taking 2nd. Great job
