Congratulations to Miles who was chosen to the
All County team and the All Metro team. Your hard work has paid
off and we are proud of you:)

POPE XC has
a great day at the Region Championship! Both the Girls and Boys
finish 3rd and qualify for state next Saturday at Carrollton.
Miles led the boys with a 4th place finish, and Kristen was 6th, each
qualifying for state individually. The top 5 varsity girls, and
6 of 7 boys ran all-time or season PRs. Many JV runners also had
PRs and bettered the standards for lettering. Way to go POPE!!
The State
team will be comprised of the runners listed on the link below, and
are to report for practice Monday immediately after school (3:30pm) at
the track.

The
Greyhounds prepare and sharpen at the Coach Woods
Invitational. Girls are led by Rachel's 10th place
finish and the boys are led by Miles 3rd overall place
finish. The best is yet to come:)

The
Greyhounds ran at the County championships this past
weekend. Leading the way for the greyhounds was
Miles with his 6th place finish in the boys Varsity race.

Pope
travels to the Cass Carterville Invitational and wins the
girls JV team championship and takes 2nd in the JV boys
