**POPE GIRLS TAKE 3rd AT
STATE** Congratulations to ZANDI who is the 2007 STATE CHAMPION in the
High Jump!!! She also places 2nd in the 300m hurdles with a new
school record of 43.3, and 3rd in the LJ with a new school record of
18'6.5" Saskia is the State runner up in the triple jump and set a new
school record of 38' 6"!!! The 4 x 400m relay team of Claire, Alyska, Saskia and Zandi
finished 4th with incredible anchor leg by Zandi

Work parties to clean up the track & field facilities are
scheduled for Monday 2/19 at 1:00pm, and Sunday 2/25 1:30pm. Bring yard
tools. Parent/Student Pizza party is on Thursday, 2/22 from 6:30-8:00 in
the cafeteria.
